Graduated with a degree of Associates of Applied Science in Complementary Alternative Medicine, I'm a practicing master herbalist and belong to the American Herbalist Guild. Currently, my passions include rock climbing, teaching classes on herbal medicine, and writing the Survival Ember series coauthored by my friend Kenny Dietrich of UglyTent. Recently in the past few years my love of Spanish was reawakened as my husband and I took a trip to Costa Rica to further conservation research and inspired me to sharpen my bilingual skills. I'm now planning to return to college and earn my Bachelor's degree in Foreign Language in hopes that I can further my work internationally, both in herbal medicine and my writing.
